I'm lucky in that I don't have to go through the green gates in the morning when they haven't put them up yet. But during the rest of the day, it is ridiculous to have them there.

Also as an aside...though this would be really helpful to me...does anyone know how many laps around the Oval you need to run a mile?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1837176580996082182.post-70895989212661536232010-04-05T04:37:05.875-04:002010-04-05T04:37:05.875-04:00There is no "new" Security chief, what A...There is no "new" Security chief, what Adam Rose was referring to was that it was he who originally hired the current chief when Rose ran the property (just before Speyer).

Nothing has changed here yet. TS still runs the property, the Security force is still in a diminished state, and their marching orders are "don't piss of anyone paying MR rent".

As deputized Peace Officers, it's a dereliction of duty and civic responsibility to ignore quality of life crimes that now occur here every day. Public consumption of alcohol, failure to curb and pick up after pets, violation of leash laws, parking laws and other infractions all are ignored and unenforced. It's high time that the NYC Finance Department revoke their Peace Officer privilege, and restore NYPD enforcement to our public streets. The inconsistent and preferential application of law enforcement here is a clear denial of due process to the majority of the tenants.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1837176580996082182.post-7972920435507756942010-04-04T13:02:34.195-04:002010-04-04T13:02:34.195-04:00Do we know for sure that we have a new security ch...Do we know for sure that we have a new security chief?Stuy Town Reporterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05538426011607971633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1837176580996082182.post-90772139167373907522010-04-04T12:27:00.613-04:002010-04-04T12:27:00.613-04:00I knew Adam Rose was lying at the last TA meeting....I knew Adam Rose was lying at the last TA meeting. When quality of life issues such as dog/owner scofflaws, loud partiers, etc. are addressed and rules are enforced it leads to a safer environment where criminal activity tends to decrease. The curent chaotic "anything goes" environment at PCVTV and the apathy and indifference of Security will, in my opinion, encourage the criminal element of society to hang out and prey on people on the property because they will sort of blend in and know that Security doesn't give a damn about what's going on. That said, I think our landlord (whoever the hell that is!) should increase the Security force, hire better caliber personnel and pay them decent wages so they at least have the skills and incentive to do the job.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
