Oval Concierge - Now with No Monthly Fee

Look what came in under the door. Effective August 1 (that's two days ago), Oval Concierge will be free--well, sort of. No monthly fee for these "exclusive paid concierge services*" [*Pricing varies by service]: Housekeeping, dry cleaning and laundry, pet services, discount movie tickets, stamps, MetroCards, photocopying, faxing, etc.

And, yes, there's an "Oval" lettering before Concierge, but it disappears at scanning.

  1. So now they've come to realize that in order to generate a revenue stream they actually need to allow people in the front door of their service ??

They figured out that nobody wanted to pay a fee just so they could have the privlege of "paying a fee"

What a bunch of rocket scientists these people are.

  2. For Tishman Speyer to be offering all these "amenities" at the same time they are reducing basic maintenance of the buildings and subjecting residents to the most inferior laundry equipment in the world (short of a river and a rock) is rather like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

  3. I don't think they are offering anything for free, they just changed their pricing structure to charge for individual services.

  4. Tishman Speyer may be a good commercial landlord (I honestly don't know), they have proven that they haven't got a clue when it comes to running residential property. Let's hope to God they never get into the hospital and nursing home business. Can you imagine the pain and suffering they would cause with their parsimony and stupidity!
