Our landlord, BLACKSTONE, can't handle Stuy Town and Peter Cooper Village. There is a lack of enforcement of certain "rules," and no amount of notice to this alleviates the problems. We are continually being told half-truths and fabrications. And we have no viable Tenants organization, despite our TA asking for dues all the time. So far, the politicians have proven to be basically useless. A typical New York story.
Someone told me that while the robbery was taking place the crack security team was busy guarding some sort of film shoot taking place a short distance away. Sure is comforting to know that Rose and his security team have their priorities straight.
No. We're East Village or Gramercy. Stuy Town has no crime. Just ask Rose. Seriously, I was talking to a friend of one of the Security Guards recently and learned that there is an enormous amount of crime here, but they don't want it known. "They" being management.

When you say "Stuy Town" do you mean Kips Bay?

reading this notice on the wall broke my heart - no elderly man living here should have this happen to him.
