  1. Remember, you can't spell Chipotle without e-c-o-l-i.

  2. The StuyTown Chipotle has been empty most of the times I've been by there. The one on 23rd St next to the Gramercy Theatre has also been empty lately, and it used to be packed. The criminal case seems to iinvolve their management of employees. If Chipotle was forcing sick employees to work, and if that's what caused the norovirus outbreak, then they need to be seriously punished.

  4. That streeteasy ad is strange. It says we have "doorman" and the rent they are asking was decreased, it went down!

On Chipotle what else is there to say but EWWWW!

  5. I miss those old family-owned Greek diners. Best coffee in the world in those places. Keep Starbucks and DD.

  6. Anony 4.47 PM. That ad is total BS. "Concierge,
    Doorman". Sure.

  7. I read that the reason Chipotle is under investigation is because they made workers show up for work even though they were sick and this is what contaminated the food. Typical of the dominance over the poor by the ruling 1%. The one-percenters will never get sick from food contaminated by workers too sick to work, but too poor not to work. That is a pity.
Btw, I NEVER eat in franchise/chain eateries these days. Therefore, I eat at home a lot (and save money) or go to real restaurants (with table cloths) and spend money. But, I never go to any place that is a franchise in any way, shape or form.

  8. The city has really changed and continues to do so at an alarming rate - pathetically full of banks, nail salons and franchises to eat in.

  9. The Chipotle Virus and what everyone should know when "profit above safety" is practiced. Don't touch the tables, don't eat with your hands.

  11. let us all boycott these chains and franchises that are ruining the city. Say No to cvs and walgreens. Fuck em.

  12. Consider it boycotted. That was easy.
