Just So You Don't Forget

102 comments:

  1. Those photos will need explanation, maybe. First few are so you don't forget and forget and forget the person who you MUST vote for today. Of course, I plan to vote against this intrusion (thanks!), as I see two faces below Epstein I don't particularly want to see. And Epstein's people were INSIDE Stuy Town's border this morning, trying to get more votes. Epstein was with Powers, btw.

Then we have "the rules" from the city posted all over. The languages used are telling.

And...we have the return of that advertising truck for Stuy Town. Guess what is still missing? I saw this truck, or whatever it is called, being driven along 1st Avenue.

Then we have a sight I always see: a non-pedaling delivery person who is obviously on one of "those" bikes. And in Peter Cooper. No PS stopped him. PS does have cameras, no?

There's been some controversy over the new outdoor gym. My statement still stands. In cold or poor weather it is not used at all. Good weather, like today, some people are out in the gym. I made sure to go inside a few times and count. At most, there were four people inside. I assumed there will be more once the weather gets better and better. But just how many people are in Stuy Town???

  2. I don’t particularly want to see Garodnicks face either. Along with Hoylman and Kavannagh, he promoted this terrible deal with Blackstone and became invisible in his last year of office, as Blackstone ran this property to the ground.

  3. STR, my window overlooks that playground and I never see more people than you can count on one hand making use of it.

As for Epstein and the other two stooges in the photographs, I think I'll skip voting today. I might insult Powers if I run into him.

Regarding the truck, it is as tacky as anything I've ever seen. It says everything about the level of class of this management company. There's a definite air of desperation there, too.

  7. From the above link:

NEW YORK, April 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Blackstone Mortgage Trust, Inc. (NYSE: BXMT) (the "Company" or "BXMT") today announced the closing of a $1.8 billion financing for Tishman Speyer's construction of the Spiral, a 2.8 million square foot trophy office building 28% preleased to Pfizer and located in the Hudson Yards district of New York City. The financing represents BXMT's largest ever single asset origination and third construction financing for Tishman Speyer, one of the leading owners, developers and operators of first-class real estate worldwide.

  8. You didn't think he left, did you? From that link;

Tishman Speyer President and CEO Rob Speyer said, "Tishman Speyer is pleased to partner with Blackstone Mortgage Trust in the development of The Spiral, the world's most connected and collaborative office environment. With its iconic design, amazing views and abundant access to outdoor amenity spaces, The Spiral will serve as a major leap forward in the evolution of the modern workplace."

  9. Rob Speyer is like Donald Trump. A smart but ruthless father hands over the business to the stupid lame-brained son and so many people have to suffer as a result. Same goes with Kushner: a smart, but criminally-inclined papa hands over the business to an idiot son. These people belonged in the Old World, but brought their terrible morality to the New World. So many of the RE dynasties seem to be beset with evil patriarchs, handing over to morally and intellectually challenged sons.

  10. Do Management know what a total fucking embarrassment that truck is to those of us live here? I have friends in other parts of town and I'm ashamed and embarrassed to have them come over so long as that circus-looking thing is roaming around! Don't these people from the boondocks and flyover states realize that we just don't do this in New York? Barnum & Bailey/Ringling Brothers has gone away now (forever, Thank God) and New York City is not still so in the old days of P.T. Barnum, torturing elephants to death at Coney Island (think Topsy) and we have tried so hard to earn and keep the reputation of being a world class, sophisticated and 21st Century city. And then along comes these yokums with their painted circus truck to try to sell Stuyvesant Town. SMFH. Is Rick going to organize bear baiting and cock fighting as attractions? Why are we afflicted with these low class hayseeds? We are better and deserve better.

Rick, take your painted truck and see if you can rustle-up a revival of The Mamas and the Papas. I think you'll find that most of them are dead or nearly dead, but they might appreciate having their touring truck returned to them. SMFH.

    What a surprise...not!
    Danny Boy Garodnick is gone.
Brian Kavanaugh left his Assembly seat in a slick move to allow the political bosses to anoint a successor.
But now we have Hairless Harvey...woohoo!
    Let's see how he performs.

  12. I live how these corrupt TA bozos work. Peter Stuyvesant says the TA does not endorse any candidates, but then John Marsh goes on the post and endorses candidates as an admin of the group (and probably the person posting as Peter Stuyvesant) and as former TA President.

Seeing as he’s an admin of the page, I take his personal remarks and endorsements to also be endorsements being made by the TA. I’m beginning to believe that Marsh is the driving force behind Peter Stuyvesant and that Steinberg doesn’t have much to do with the Facebook stuff. She is just a ridiculous puppet that shows up for photo-ops.

    ReplyDelete
  13. On that poster's comment it says that Wilbur Ross, Ben Shaoul, and a half dozen shell company llc's registered their Stuy Town mortgages under 270 First Avenue. How and why did they chose that Stuy Town building, 270, for their official address? Who lives at 270 First Avenue that is running this shell company llc Stuytown mortgage sham?

  14. Open the Tenant Association Books already and John Sheehy as Treasurer, with a history of ripping off his clients, has got to go along with all who vote that he remain on the Board (past and present voters).

    ReplyDelete
  15. It is outrageous that a known business fraud is the treasurer of the StuyTown Tenant Association Board. No wonder they need clown cars to sell this place. This is no joke. Expose the frauds and the fraudsters!

    ReplyDelete
  16. >>John Marsh goes on the post....<<

Marsh's "we won" says it all. I don't care if you wanted one side to win, but an administrator should be very careful not to mix up what is personal with the TA. Yeah, I can make excuses, too. But I guess the TA gets many more hits than Marsh's personal page, so.... Anyway, I'm glad to see rent prices going down instead of up, and some of the real estate gimmicks disappearing.... LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  17. >>business fraud<<

Do we know that this is true?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Marsh is also pushing for/endorsing Nixon in his we won post. Guy has no shame, and of course Peter Stuyvesant allows it because Marsh is Peter Stuyvesant! What a sham.

    ReplyDelete
  19. >>Marsh is also pushing for/endorsing Nixon in his we won post.<<

Yeah, I noticed. Again, nothing wrong with pushing a candidate on your personal page, but Marsh also represents the TA. Is this the TA's official stance?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Corruption and/or not doing the right thing is all over the place.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I thought Marsh had left the TA, except as a regular member. I don't think he holds any official post. However, I am pretty sure that if anyone else shilled for any politician (especially if it were a Republican) we would soon be slapped down by Peter Stuyvesant! I vote the way Marsh votes, but I do have some concerns about his presence on the TA official page. Having said that, I can see that the TA is doing the right thing in pushing pro-tenant politicians and no Republican would qualify in that area!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Politicians don't care about you and this place continues to spiral out of control. Anything else?

    ReplyDelete
  23. >>I thought Marsh had left the TA, except as a regular member.<<

He is stated as one of the admins of the TA Facebook page. First person mentioned, too.

    ReplyDelete
  24. >>I can see that the TA is doing the right thing in pushing pro-tenant politicians<<

Yeah, but I'd love to see the facts, instead of just a bus to Albany. I think some of our "pro-tenant politicians" can act on both sides of the aisle. It is no shock that some are beholden to the Real Estate industry.

    ReplyDelete
  25. From what I know of Powers, he is a nightmare for us. But he is our closest politician.

    ReplyDelete
  26. John Marsh IS Peter Stuyvesant. He was in charge when the TA page and the Peter Stuyvesant alias were created. He is still an admin on the TA page.

And I love the TA pushing tenant friendly politicians, as there is no such thing. Money dominates all, and RE has plenty of that.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well well well... it appears that the TA is meeting up tomorrow at 5:30 on 14th and First to “March” to the RGB meeting. This might be a good opportunity to see how many people take place in this March, and to put Steinberg on notice in front of her minions.

Oh, and I won’t forget to wear my yellow shirt!

  28. You know what caught my eye on that ridiculous bedroom truck that’s parked on Peter Cooper Road??

It refers to Stuy Town as being an “East Village location.” For decades this community strived to be considered a part of Gramercy. Boy the times have changed. Now in order to seem cool to the college bros, you need to market yourself as an East Village location. Talk about a downgrade in neighborhoods (and I have absolutely no problem with the East Village).

Rivington is one of histories dirtiest real estate scams.

  34. According to comments on this blog and public record the landlord Steve Schwarzman is a major fundraiser for Donald Trump ($100,000 per person lunches at his 740 Park Avenue home) and the StuyTown city council representative is a former lobbyist for Donald Trump and Donald Trump's United States Secretary of Commerce owns mortgages with other shell companies on StuyTown leases that are apartment units used as dorms. The dorm in our building is a tenant association member who has not lived in the apartment for years but instead has had a succession of students, 4 or 5 at a time.

  37. That poster reminds of that fact that now the TA is swaying that Dan Garodnick met with Blackstone in 2014. Why didn't the councilman tell his constituents whose lives are in the lurch? For that fact, why is Dan Garodnick meeting with Blackstone at all because last anyone checked he does not have a reale state license and is not representing the sellers or the buyers. >>>>>>

Why can't this person be evicted? Is Fred Knapp not doing his job? In fact, every tenant who is illegally subletting should be evicted. They probably don't care about people paying market rates (don't bother me with "we're al rent stabilized" shit), but people who have been here a long time and are REALLY rent stabilized are running a major risk of getting kicked out if they sublet.

When you say the tenant is a tenant association member, do you mean somebody on the TA Board or just a regular member (what few of them there are)?

  44. A moment to remind of wisdom past on Dan Garodnick and those who unlawfully extended term limits to complete the work of REBNY especially in StuyTown. REBNY darlings Christine Quinn, Mike Bloomberg and Dan Garodnick are the cause of everything that happened to StuyTown tenants. Everything.

Christine Quinn, Bloomberg's partner in screwing New Yorkers, is up for reelection this year. In 2007, she was quoted as saying: "I am today taking a firm and final position. I will not support the repeal or change of term limits through any mechanism, and I will oppose aggressively any attempt by anyone to make any changes in the term limits law." The following year she, along with Mayor-for-Life Bloomberg, led the impetus to overturn term limits. As you can guess, Quinn is running for her third term.

  45. The Golub - Airbnb - Bed Bug Scam

    1. Landlord with Tenant Association accuse a rent stabilized tenant, Tenant A, of having other residences and using the Stuy Town apartment as an income generating illegal hotel
    2. Neighboring Condo Conversion Tenants accuse Tenant A of bringing bed bugs to the building from the hotel guests
    3. Landlord and Tenant Association create bed bug registry to avoid official report to City (despite that it is mandatory by law)
    4. Friends of Condo Conversion Tenants that live elsewhere (eg Brooklyn or Staten Island) open shell company names for Pest Management businesses while contracting work out to third parties who may or may not be witting partners in the Condo Conversion Landlord and Tenant Association bed bug scam.
    5. Landlord and Tenant Association pay shell companies for "exterminating" costs despite no City inspection and without City record reporting.
    6. Landlord and Tenant Association harass Tenant A into vacating apartment with Golub notice, false illegal hotel complaint, and many other harassment tactics.
    7. Landlord and Tenant Association with Condo Converting tenants who filed bed bug complaints file lawsuits against Tenant A for damages from the phony Bed Bug "awesomely burdensome costs" beyond the extermination paid to the shell company.

If you get a Golub notice, do not listen to the Tenant Association. The Tenant Association already admitted in the Town and Village that they are working closely with the landlord Blackstone and that includes on Golub notices, thus the bad advice the Tenant Association gave the last time around for tenants to bring all their proof, evidence and documents to the landlord to show they are full time occupants. All that does is give Fred Knapp a chance to review all your stuff before court so he can poke holes in your proof and blind side you instead of the Fred Knapp being blindsided with truth and evidence in the courts. Do not take Golub advice from the Tenant Association and do not give all of your evidence to Fred Knapp before you go to court.

"And let’s not forget that it was the TA whose years-long work with top legal and financial advisers led to the Blackstone takeover." John Marsh, Former Tenant Association Board in Town and Village in December 2016.

Per the July 2015 Town and Village article on John Marsh stepping down (suspiciously abrupt stepping down) in June / July 2015, Mr John Marsh is an IT Cyber Computer Expert. He knows computers, technology, cyber space, social media as an expert in "online presence"

"A specialist in data security who works as an IT consultant, Marsh first joined the TA to establish an online presence for it.

His contributions include creating the message center, the membership relational database and the online bed bug registry."

  46. What prompted John Sheehy to make an entirely contradicting third story in T&V on April 19, 2018 of how the Blackstone deal happened? Why is that news? Why make the statement? What was that really about?

What prompted John Sheehy to say that the Blackstone deal and the TA involvement in the deal is different from how it was previously described by the TA eg after the 2015 claim of the TA and Garodnick hearing about it last minute.. then the 2016 Marsh claim in T&V of years in the making working with Blackstone? For that fact what prompted the April 19, 2018 third claim and frankly the T&V to publish two contradicting claims without questioning it at all? Does T&V regurgitate press releases or do actual reporting?

They are up to something and it involves a lot of changing history and back peddling.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I always have reported bed bug infestations to the City. You can do that online. They keep very quiet about which apartments have bed bugs, but word gets out. See who is drying tons of dry clothes in the laundry room. They only do that when bedbugs have been found in their apartments. Watch them put the heated clothes into airtight bags. Find out which apartment they live in and then report it to the City.

  50. On December 2, 2011 Dan Garodnick and Brookfield Barry Blattman announced the Garodnick TA Brookfield Partnership.
On July 28, 2015 Barry Blattman and other Brookfield executives met with hotel developer and client of lobbyist James Capalino Wang Jianlin.
On the same day, July 28, 2015 Blackstone met with hotel developer Wang Jianlin. Someone already posted Capalino with the hotel developer Wang Jianlin meeting with Bill deBlasio on March 25, 2015. All this 2 years after Wang Jianlin announced in 2013 he was going to build a $1B hotel in New York City.

Where is the hotel that Blackstone and Brookfield are building with Wang Jianlin, Bill De Blasio, James Capalino? Now that we know Dan Garodnick met with Blackstone in October 2014, Garodnick orchestrated the Brookfield TA partnership, orchestrated of the Blackstone deal, and all of the same players met with the hotel developer who would only develop on the "best" piece of land in NYC, like 80 acres of waterfront land.

Come clean already. Everyone knows what the deal is.

  54. I called public safety at around 12:30 A.M on this Saturday morning to complain about a rather loud party in the building next door to me that has been going on for hours. I have to work later today. Despite acknowledging that it was in fact supposed to be "quiet hours" the officer who took the call was very rude. Officer V. kept interrupting me as I tried to explain that I had no idea what apartment the party was in since I lived in the building next door but if an officer came up to playground 1 in ST they could definitely find the apartment, it's that loud. After one final interruption with the rude comment "are you finished" I explained I wasn't since he didn't let me finish. He said they would attempt to find the apartment. Well one hour plus later the party continues. I wonder if they could even find the building they are so incompetent. Clearly they couldn't. I believe that at this point it is obvious that the head of public safety is not up to the job. I'll try the 13th precinct next, LOL, as if that will make a difference. I am keeping my log a la Ms. Chow and I will follow up.

  57. As I’ve said, they have not increased security, they just took them out of the cars and put them on their own two feet, so they appear to be more present and increased in number. This is absolutely false, and this false PR narrative in the T&V is just that, false.

  59. Please be aware that I know certain people at Management and they know me. By sight, too. I have not kept my identity that much of a secret, ever since a few years back when a PS officer said "Hi, STR." He wasn't smiling. So, PS and Management (at that point CW) watched on their monitors to see who was STR.

    ReplyDelete
  60. STR, that is very scary. That means when you posted photos on a certain day, they went back to the cameras in that area on that day and the previous days to figure out who you are. Yet they can’t watch the monitors to see what’s presently going on, like a lady getting raped.

These are their priorities. By the way, what ever happened to the suspect in that rape case? Probably walking free.

    ReplyDelete
  61. STR, you should have called his bluff and asked him if that was the new code word for a solicitation for sex and, if so, you were going to file a sexual harassment complaint against him.

    ReplyDelete
  62. STR, how would they know who you were? Were you taking photographs or notes?

    ReplyDelete
  63. I don't know just how they found out, but they did. Probably watching those monitors and seeing who was taking photos, and then matching photos to the name. It takes time, but it can be done. At least we know what the priorities are! Again, this was in the CW days. Nowadays, there is a part of me that just doesn't care if Management or PS knows. And they do.

  65. I was in the fitness playground (yes, I used it!) today at around 2:00pm. On this beautiful day I was alone in there for the entire 40 minutes I was in there.

I have asked people (about 10-15) about why they don’t use it, and the answer is always that they don’t feel comfortable working out outside as random people are just walking by. This is something people are extremely self-conscious about, and that is not going to change.

This obviously shows that Rick’s team did not do any market research and instead just built the fitness playground for marketing purposes.

“Hey, look at this great amenity we have! You can basically have it to yourself whenever you want since none of the other tenants here use it.”

  66. STR, when the bikini beauties start lying on the Oval lawn you can be assured that PS will not be looking at you!

I went into the office one time to renew a guest key card and all the cameras were fixed on the First Avenue Westbound L train entrance/exit and the guys were not paying the slightest attention to it. It just proves the point that we have less Security now than we ever did. We are paying a small fortune in the way of an MCI for a service that has been greatly diminished. We should NOT be paying for these "security" cameras or any kind of enhanced security because it is all a great big lie and a scam.

We used to be very well protected by Security (pre-TS and the garbage that followed) and they were everywhere and they were good. We are paying through the nose for non-existent security and the property is becoming more dangerous all the time. We just have to revert back to carrying mace and pepper spray because PCVST is not protected in any meaningful way whatsoever. Of course, if we had a real Tenants Association instead of a bunch of self-serving morons, this would not be the case. I think the NYCHA Projects are probably better policed and protected than we are.

  69. There has been a visible increase in PS officers walking and riding the area. Very good, but has there also been a decrease in the noise, outside dogs, etc., at the same time? That is the question to ask. From my perspective, a visible PS is just visible, but they do very little in the way of actual enforcement of "the rules." I guess the intent right now is to have that decrease in noise, outside dogs, etc., happen without PS doing anything like enforcing the rules. Oh, yes, I understand that PS will say something to a bike rider around the Oval if PS bumps into him or her. But that's about it.

Of course there are safety concerns and misuse of security cameras by Blackstone, CW Compass Rock Fortress, the PCVST TA, Brookfield Asset Management, BlackRock, Tishman Speyer, and all who put together "the Blackstone deal". Blackstone, Chinese Money, and Safety Concerns

Chinese government now owns Waldorf Astoria hotel
Jena Tesse Fox Feb 23, 2018

Chinese investment in U.S. real estate was just dealt a major blow. On Friday, the Chinese government announced that it has seized control of Anbang Insurance Group, the Shanghai-based conglomerate that owns New York City’s Waldorf Astoria hotel, 16 Strategic Hotels & Resorts properties and other global assets.

China’s insurance regulator announced that Anbang would be overseen for at least a year by a group that includes China’s central bank, its securities and banking regulators, the country’s foreign exchange regulator and other government agencies. Anbang, the regulator claimed, had violated regulations, putting into question its ability to pay insurance claims—although the regulator did not specify which regulations Anbang had violated. Furthermore, the takeover could last for another year if Anbang fails to complete an equity restructuring and resume operations.

The government has also removed the company’s former chairman, Wu Xiaohui, from his job and charged him with “economic crimes.” A statement from Shanghai prosecutors said that Wu had been indicted for fraudulent fund-raising and improperly taking company assets.

The move puts the Waldorf Astoria hotel, once the Manhattan home for visiting dignitaries and presidents, directly under control not just of a Chinese company, but of the Chinese government.

Blackstone Group sold the Waldorf to Anbang back in 2014 for close to $2 billion, ushering in the era of major Chinese investment in U.S. real estate assets. After Anbang acquired the hotel, President Barack Obama declined to stay there due to security concerns, opting instead to use the nearby Lotte Palace hotel.

  71. Again STR, they have taken PS out of cars and put them on their two feet. They have not increased the size of the force, it’s just more recognizable since they aren’t in cars. I have this confirmed from a long-time guard that I’m friends with, who also happens to think he’s going to be the next one fired. They are also being told to patrol the heavy populated areas, like the oval and Peter Cooper Road. Their walks around the desolate areas of the property are few and far in between.

As is the case with everything they do, this is all smoke and mirrors to hide the truth, and that truth is that PS has been told to make their presence known but to basically stand down when it comes to actual enforcement of the rules.

  72. The garbage and mattress tossing anywhere has begun again. Maybe the PS officers should be looking for offenders and notifying Management to be picking it up. Embarrassing to have company here on a weekend as it looks like a pigsty

  73. Today, what was it? a few minutes outside, I came across a tossed bed that had no plastic around it. A familiar sight. This on that loop where the Management office is. No one cares.

  75. STR, that wasn't a tossed mattress. It's the new Stuy Town rental experience! Prospective tenants can try out the mattress on the ground while a Stuy Town Rental Specialist dumps trash, rats, and a suspicious bucket full of sulfuric acid on them, all while someone picks their pockets. It's just like living in Stuy Town!

  76. 5:35 PM: I like it. Humor is good.

THIS AIN'T HUMOROUS: We're already a "shithole" by reason of all of the dog feces (and urine). And college students (mainly male?) defecating in the stairwells.

As of yesterday, Saturday, April 28, 2018, there is a spanking new white portable shithole (portable toilet) sitting mere yards into the 14th Street Loop Avenue A entrance.

Immaculately clean and white on the outside, it also sports the words "Security" repeated many times, as well as the Stuyvesant Town Security logo.

Oh, and yes - it is tethered to some other poor abused tree (they are excellent and efficient tree tormentors and MURDERERS HERE).

Neither Security nor a worker had ever seen it before.

WELCOME TO STUYVESANT TOWN! AS YOU WALK ONTO OUR SPLENDID GROUNDS, FEEL FREE TO TAKE A DUMP!

  77. It is impossible for Public Safety to be as incompetent as they seem. Clearly management has tied their hands and probably threatened them with losing their jobs if they take any actions. Fortunately for tenants this shifts the liability for violation of house rules from the offending tenant to the deep pocketed owner Blackstone. Can you say cha-ching?

If he reads this blog I would like to let him know that I work at one of the top 2 whistleblower firms in the nation. It would be my pleasure to bring him in and introduce him to the managing partner if he wants to spill his guts and help out the tenants here. Post if interested Eddie. It doesn't matter if they forced you to sign anything, there are a number of ways around that.

It may not be likely that Eddie Grace is now reading this blog. BUT, it might be possible to reach him, as well as others, who might very well be interested in talking to the managing partner of your whistleblower firm.

Please stay on this blog, because at least one person is working on this now and will let you know how to get in contact within a week or two.

    The overseer of the TA

  95. GAME OVER - SPEYER WINS

If not for entrenched, corrupt, NYC DEM machine politics, Garodnick's endorsement would be the kiss of death.

On behalf of REBNY/Wall Street predators bankrolling him, Dan Garodnick:

    - Conceived a scheme to defraud/disenfranchise his 25,0000 PCVST neighbors/constituents out of an unprecedented opportunity to own the entire PCVST complex without an unnecessary, phony partner and affordably purchase their individual homes, at cost, from themselves.

    - Hijacked our disgraced, incredibly conflicted TA Board, which then betrayed 25,000 PCVST neighbors - TA BOARD'S SOLE CONSTITUENCY - in furtherance of Garodnick's scheme to

    1. Defraud/Disenfranchise PCVST residents out of an unprecedented opportunity to own the entire PCVST complex without an unnecessary, phony partner. Disgraced, incredibly conflicted TA Board needlessly entered into an unnecessary business partnership with major REBNY predator/$25 MILLION Speyer investor Brookfield that diverted all unprecedented PCVST resident opportunities/resources to own the entire PCVST complex away from TA Board's 25,000 PCVST neighbors/constituents - TA BOARD'S SOLE CONSTITUENCY - into the claws of corrupted, disgraced, incredibly conflicted TA Board's business partner Brookfield. SPEYER WINS

    2. Defraud/Disenfranchise PCVST residents out of an unprecedented opportunity to affordably purchase their individual homes at cost from themselves. Instead, Garodnick and his hijacked, incredibly conflicted TA Board needlessly inserted an unnecessary profit-seeking owner/sponsor - $25 MILLION Speyer investor/TA Board business partner Brookfield - standing between PCVST residents and individual home ownership. The condo choice alone priced out affordable home ownership for the vast majority of middle class PCVST residents. Brookfield would rake in multiple billion dollar windfalls selling expensive condos in bulk to outside corporate purchasers pushing longstanding middle class PCVST residents out of their homes. SPEYER WINS

    - Without any prior notification to their 25,000 neighbors/constituents, Garodnick/TA Board handed over the future of our historic, world renowned, middle class PCVST community (where Garodnick was born, raised and resided for his entire life) directly over to major Wall Street predator Moelis. Their Brookfield owning PCVST betrayal scheme was presented to PCVST residents as a "fait accompli" without any consultation or discussion.

    - Garodnick led a cynical, P.R. Lobbyist maintained campaign promoting his phony "tenant led purchase" delivering multiple billion dollar windfalls - EVERYTHING PCVST - to major REBNY predator/$25 MILLION Speyer investor Brookfield. PCVST residents were misled into believing TA Board business partner Brookfield was their partner. PCVST residents were promised an opportunity to purchase an expensive Brookfield condo at a "reasonable" or "fair" price.

    - Garodnick/TA Board diverted PCVST residents' exclusive access to $2.7 BILLION Fannie Mae purchase funding to major REBNY predator Brookfield, then after being bitch-slapped by corrupt NYC Mayor de Blasio, to the world's most notorious Wall Street predator Blackstone.

More than anyone, Dan Garodnick destroyed PCVST. This sleaze should be ashamed to show his face in public around in this neighborhood.

    SPEYER WINS.

Acting on behalf of billionaire REBNY/Wall Street predators bankrolling him, Dan Garodnick hijacked our incredibly conflicted PCVST TA Board to deliver PCVST into the claws of billionaire REBNY/Wall Street predators successfully executing Speyer's failed plan to rake in multiple billion dollar windfalls destroying PCVST.

Vacancy Decontrol has nothing to do with corrupt NYC politician Dan Garodnick hijacking our incredibly conflicted TA Board on behalf of REBNY/Wall Street predators bankrolling him .

Vacancy Decontrol is Albany corruption maintained by corrupt NYS politician Andrew Cuomo on behalf of REBNY/Wall Street predators bankrolling him.

No fan of Cuomo, I think Michael McKee called him a psycho dark prince or words to that effect. Guess you voted for Pataki. Funny how in your rants, you never mention Republicans. I am no fan of Cuomo, I will vote against him in the primary ("Vote for the Homo, not Cuomo!"-this is from the Nixon campaign) but in the general, I will hold my nose and vote for him because your Republican candidate, Marcus Molinaro (correct me if I am wrong and he is not your candidate) does not believe in ANY residential housing regs, never mind NY RS law.

Have your read “Other People’s Money “by Charles Bagli? Garodnick was OK his first term, c minus his second and a failure in his third. But again, none of this predatory REBNY crap would have happened WITHOUT vacancy decontrol which was approved by BOTH houses in 1997 and signed by the Republican governor, George Pataki. That was the year that killed PCVST, not Garodnick.

    Facts matter.
