Our landlord, BLACKSTONE, can't handle Stuy Town and Peter Cooper Village. There is a lack of enforcement of certain "rules," and no amount of notice to this alleviates the problems. We are continually being told half-truths and fabrications. And we have no viable Tenants organization, despite our TA asking for dues all the time. So far, the politicians have proven to be basically useless. A typical New York story.

Enjoy It While You Can!
Let's see.... Too much green space in ST/PCV.... I got it! Let's make this a playground! More basketball courts!
A combo of basketball and beach volley ball courts with a third party promoter and restricted use (fee paid) for tenants. Beach volley ball is THE hot young professional sport as promoted in the NY Times on Pier 25 in Tribeca. No way will this be a children’s’ playground. And to all of you who said, I love the Green Market, I love the Oval Café, my kids love the Ice Rink, etc., well, you reap what you sow. Why don’t they just end the agony and pave over the Oval. Be done with it.
The TA made a deal with then CW now Compass Rock in exchange for helping CW with controlling the tenants during construction projects CW would then sell to the Brookfield TA deal. That is why some MR and the TA named themselves the new stabilizers and have been aggressive towards the RS who try to protect the open space parks and fight the MCI. That is why now the TA is pretending to be on top of how the construction is handled on the AVE C loop - because they got a big unexpected fight from the tenants on the First Ave Loop. The TA thought after getting away without much resistance in the Oval destruction that the First Ave Loop would be a breeze with their DOB forums playing authority over tenants. But our First Ave Loop resident neighbors spoke up and fought. We need our Ave C resident neighbors to fight hard too. We in Peter Cooper must fight hard to protect our green lawn too. Don't let the TA kill all the open space as they did the Oval and First Ave Loop.

I'll give you a special award if this actually happens!
I was wondering if the new management office is something that the TA could file a reduction in services claim over which could possibly lead to a rent reduction. Did we not lose green space and seating areas? Would this qualify?
This lawn is right on top of where the remanufactured gas storage tanks were located. When the first shovel shows up, I'd suggest calling the EPA.>>>
Call the EPA and every fucking newspaper and television station in the State. We can't let them fuck with our health. It's bad enough they are destroying everything that is beautiful and green here. They are getting away with murder.
If Dopey Dan and the TA don't raise up agains this atrocity, they should just go the hell away.
Same pols and people who covered up the toxic First Ave Loop soil that left here in 50 full dump trucks and the blind eye to the digs in the Oval will cover up this toxic dumping to.
What ever happened to the Big Dig site run by the JP Morgan (same company that did Dan's "independent" audit declaring Brookfield as the best option for repaying the investors .... er I mean best option for tenants) - the JP Morgan guy who ran the Big Dig and removed the word "contaminated" Is that PR site still there?
10:44 yes you are right but the TA will only pretend to file and negotiate for it then at most get pennies. The TA has a bad track record negotiating these things for the community.

I continue to despise this place as the days go by. Nice job!
Oval Pool? Not that far fetched.
Yeeh Haah!!! Hope there's a beer garden along side of it! Whoo Hoo!
Property ruined forever!!
Another playground taken away from me and my children. Is this legal?
We dared to play tackle football there when it was really cold or raining - and when Security would show up we would run for our lives!
let's all sign the petition and publish it online

Hello again Zog Sports
