Most…depressing…link...ever!

Ok, maybe an over the top comment but it’s at least in the top 5 most depressing links ever posted on the STR.

And really, "NYC #stuytown late night "? Go f*** yourself, you entitled DB BRO A-Hole!

Ironic that people with nothing to say love to televis themselves so much. At 20 something years old one would hope they've outgrown making baby faces into a camera like a toddler.

Did Dan or TA board members tell anyone where our business partner Brookfield is holding their "We Own Them" victory celebration? Apparently they forgot to invite their PCVST tenant led purchase partners.

Or, maybe Brookfield didn't forget anything. Maybe we didn't get invited to their victory party because we're really not their business partners. We're just thousands of misinformed PCVST tenant-prey kept ignorant in the dark so we can be duped into buying our homes for Brookfield. Maybe Dan or TA board members can sneak us in through a rear service door to the kitchen where we can watch Andy triumphantly collect his well-deserved rewards from RSA-REBNY predators.

Cuomo To NYC Renters: Drop Dead

http://gothamist.com/2015/06/23/cuomo_rent_albany_samo.php

Guess doing the same old phone calls, post cards, rallies, protests gets the same old results. Can't wait to do the same old things in four years and get the same outcome.

$2500 or $2700 does not matter when they inflate the renovation charges and let NYU students oversee the renovations.

Thanks Dan and Marsh.

"But Tenants and Neighbors executive director Katie Goldstein depicted the deal as devastating to tenants."Our worst fears about Governor Cuomo have been confirmed. He took no action at all to strengthen the rent laws. Cuomo made empty promises and lied repeatedly while helping the Senate Republicans advance a bill that is a massive giveaway to landlords," she said in a statement. "Up to 100,000 rent-regulated apartments will be lost over the next four years because of Cuomo’s Republican deal."

"Cuomo will suffer big political consequences for his betrayal of tenants and Democrats and for solidifying his status as a Republican Governor," she added."

Next time someone in local political office tells you to send post cards and make phone calls to influence a corrupt egomaniacal crook tell them about the great results you got this year! What a waste of energy. We have to fight smarter and we need new leadership at all levels because our current local politicians are smart, they know they were giving us bad advice that would get us bad results and sure enough it did!. When will we learn not to follow these village idiots. This is bullshit.

A Staged Act of "Three Men In A Room" brought to you by the rebny and wall street.

Three Men In A Room Is No Way To Govern A People.
Correction: three Men In A Room Is A Corrupt Way To Govern.

http://gothamist.com/2015/06/23/cuomo_rent_albany_samo.php
Cuomo To NYC Renters: Drop Dead

Photo of "Three Men Laughing" is nauseating.

This pretense as their starting point on their fake out for the press and the public when they come back with a compromise that was their real deal anyway shows how stupidly arrogant they are.

To stage this fake back and forth on a predetermined outcome in a show of "see how flexible I am and how hard I am working for the People" is a grotesque exercise to put the People through.

Heastie, Flanagan, Cuomo we are not buying your faked act on how the game is played with Cuomo saying "governing is about compromise".

Political play dates with you three men in a room then staging this charade for the public.

Grow up.

Governing was never meant to be a game in the first place.

Governing is about decisive strength to implement moral and ethical policies for the People and not compromising those morals and ethics for money.

We are not amused by your rebny sponsored political puppet show.

Appalling Albany is acting absolutely disgusting. Our children have more common sense than you three combined.

9 39 really needs to stop. There's no buying of our homes. Str really?

Anonymous said...

The bullshit meter went off on Cuomo's Charade of Compromise

Coming out with this first horrendous position then to follow it with a lesser horrendous one in a few days or weeks is a charade we are no longer buying.

We see your fake act. We know the game well.

Getting rid of two of the three corrupt three men in a room should have made the process easier and still Cuomo struggled.

What vultures were circling? The ones cleaning up your messes? It was hard to act on rent regulation and 421a, the most corrupted policies that enrich the wealthy and hurt the People because you usually act in a corrupted manner and Preet made it harder to pull off your corruption.

That is what made it difficult. Not change in leadership. Change in power of corruption.

Mr Bharara cut off your corruption buddies and let their cronies know he is watching and that made it difficult for you because you don't want to do right by the People. You want to do right for the wealthy who fill your coffer.

Mr Cuomo you are not fit for the job of governing a People.
The wave of wealth you are creating for rebny and wall street leaves a wake of a lot of deadened families and people losing their homes
Your moral compass points $

Tenants Demand Assembly Reject Cuomo’s Landlord-friendly Rent Proposal

With Governor Cuomo's announcement of a framework the for renewing rent laws that preserves the corrupt elements of previous rent laws and rewards his millionaire and billionaire contributors, tenants are calling on the Assembly to vote no on this bad deal for tenants.

The "deal", if enacted, would extend New York's corrupt rent laws by four years, guaranteeing a further erosion of affordable housing in New York City and the downstate suburbs. It will make a meaningless increase in the deregulation threshold to $2700, while doing nothing to stop landlord harassment and forced evictions of low income tenants. And it makes cosmetic changes to the MCI rules, one of the loopholes landlords use to jack up rents and force tenants out, while making the increase in base rents permanent.

"This bill is a big win for the billionaires that fund Governor Cuomo's campaign, and a big loss for tenants who were counting on the Governor to keep his word by fighting for genuinely stronger rent laws. The Assembly must reject this terrible deal," said Ava Farkas, Executive Director of the Metropolitan Council on Housing.

This is not a final deal, Assembly Members are caucusing now and could still stand with tenants and reject Cuomo's weak offer.

Call your Assemblymember NOW and tell them to stand with tenants by voting no on Cuomo's deal. Find your representative here or call 518-455-4100.

Thank you Gov. Cuomo for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for the middle class. NOTHING!!!
You have some pair of balls. Hope you sleep well at night while all of us are struggling to pay our rents. So much as taking office to serve the people. OH yeah, the people that YOU want to help instead of the people that need it the most!

Quite interested in knowing all the LP limited partnerships and LLC's who invested in turning Stuyvesant Town into STUYTOWN Campus and how much the people involved in those LLC and LP's donate to Cuomo and Garodnick. Their TA never looked into that either.

The problems with the democrat officials screwing us royal in New York are numerous.

They won't give a shit or will give a shit since they know they can fuck us royally but we'll neeeeeeever vote republican. ROFL.

Per the videos, I moved here when I was 23. I was young and I partied. Alot. I never once had a neighbor call security on me or have a neighbor have to confront me about my partying ways. I still have most of the same wonderful neighbors. Anyone who was in my home (and this would be late night) was told not to slam doors, take of shoes, etc.
Anyone who claims being young is associated with this behavior is wrong, its a matter of just having respect and kindness towards your environment and neighbors.
But I also believe this generation living here is just so full of entitlement. They should be full of shame.

"Thanks Dan and Marsh."

Why blame them? They're nothing to Gov. Psycho.

Wow. NYU had students doing individual study with professors for school credits installing wall partitions while at the same time they had NYU students inspecting innocent rent stabilized tenants "for wall inspections" (who had no wall partitions) but really the NYU inspections were for upgrading to renew the apartments for wealthier tenants and now the students are bragging about it on their online linkedin resumes.

Stairway in Stuyvesant Oval building as of 6:30AM this morning:
1. Case of empty beer bottles...at least they were Heineken.
2. Two plastic garbage bags filled with...naturally garbage...wet, smelly, disgusting
3. Three lovely formed elliptical dog turds! freshly laid too! So aromatic!
4. Cigarette butts all over the place.
5. One obviously used condom...the stairwell surely must put her in the mood...lol
6. Oh, did I forget to mention the aromatic, pungent odor of the weed.

Stuy Town Dorms Rock...NOT!

True to that. The democrats screw themselves since the politicians know we'll never vote in a republican, so they just fuck with us however they want and are reaping millions for themselves. all while the middle class gets fucked .

'Massive numbers of evictions are not a sign of individuals who have failed. Rather, they are symptomatic of laws, institutions and underlying structures bent on maintaining inequality."

The massive evictions in Stuyvesant Town Peter Cooper Village and in the entire of New York City are a direct result of city politicians putting and allowing laws favoring the REBNY. They did not once raise holy hell until it was too late.

STR has been raising holy hell for years. Thank you STR!

TA stayed blind, deaf, complicit for years.

Don't get me started on NYU Dan GaRebny.

Mayor SpeyerSpinoladeBanksio made a wrong turn.

Governor Glenwood was always a rotten, stinky corrupt ****.

The reason for each inspection should have been challenged to reveal the lie they told to illegally inspect the entire apartment complex in the first place. The apartment complex, now a full fledged luxury campus. Instead Dan proposed a law to give tenants a longer heads up for illegal searches, giving landlords and CW permission to continue illegally inspecting as long as they give a few more days to tenants to schedule the illegal searches for ways to harass and charge tenants money. .. er ... I mean inspections for illegal walls.

"They won't give a shit or will give a shit since they know they can fuck us royally but we'll neeeeeeever vote republican. ROFL."

I plan to vote republican in local and state elections going forward. I'd rather deal with an honest POS than a dishonest one. At least the republicans are upfront about their contempt for the poor, middle-class and elderly. The dems feel the same way repubs do, but they LIE their fucking corrupt heads off to us. I didn't vote for Cuomo because I knew he was a repug in disguise, so I voted for the other guy whose name I don't even remember.

Anonymous said...

Fuck the TA, the clique of useless people.

Stuy Town Reporter said...

I can't agree. I've seen TA members give of their time to pass out literature, call other tenants, etc. I do think that the TA needs to up its game considerably, however, but I can't denigrate regular people who try to help tenants.

senators who screw the homeowner even more but help the developers endlessly

On September 26, 2014, President Obama signed H.R. 2600 – introduced and passed as a result of advocacy efforts by Senator Charles Schumer, U.S. Rep. Carolyn Maloney, and REBNY – into law, which exempts condominium developments from ILSA filing and registration requirements, and in doing so, gives condominium developers and their lenders a greater level of certainty as the economy continues to recover."

REBNY boasts a handful of results from their bribes to government here:

The PCVST Tenant Association Board of Directors should have used the full weight of being the largest Middle Class community in the country to fight for Middle Class Affordable Housing in the biggest way possible.

They wasted the most valuable opportunity to help the Middle Class.
They did not use their voice and clout as they should have and that was a deliberate choice by a few bad eggs on the Board which the rest just followed.
They misused their position to help Dan help REBNY/Speyer/Brookfield developers.

That is why we are developed, commercialized, full of office buildings, clogged with traffic on the loops from poor planning of placing Oval Concierge where there is not parking for delivery trucks that double park, jam up the loop, and overcrowded with dorms.

10:10 AM. The parents of these entitled douchebags simply didn't love them enough to take the trouble to teach them to have respect for themselves or others. Sadly, there is no app for remedying that. They failed as parents and their offspring fail as human beings. Very sad.
