I will be there in Albany! And I love the poster. Especially the art by Eric Drooker. Powerful visual. Luv his work in the New Yorker too.

Housing - a basic human right but in America we have to rally, protest, and plead with our government to lessen government use of our housing as toys, gambling assets for the wealthy to play with, to risk, and to ever increasingly profit from - with no risk / all reward to the wealthy and all risk / no reward to the people living in the homes.

We're getting more and more like a third world country all the time. Remember Papa Doc in Haiti and Fernando Marcos in the Phillipines? They partied and lived high off the hog while their people lived in devastating squalor, misery and poverty. I think our so-called leaders are working from the same playbook.

Why are these events always held when people are at work?!?!?!

Was at work too. Missed it. Did it do anything? Get any good press? State wide?

Cuomo recently said he was phasing out tenant protections over time because to do so all oat once would be chaos so he is killing us off slowly. He is ruining many lives then when he does one thing decent WFP "warms" up to him. Then he goes and does 25 more hurtful things. Then one decent thing. Then 25 hurtful things. ... and again and again. This guy is bad for the people. Bad for business. Start Up NY is a big failure if not a scam to give away millions to existing business buddies while creating little to no jobs. Another abuse of taxpayer dollars not to mention the millions spent on the ad agency to nationally give an impression that is not yielding results. The program is a sham.
We need to do away with Start Up NY, do away with tax breaks for billionaires in the 421 a and stop the "doing away with the working middle class of NY with Cuomo's chipping away at tenant's home protections.

5:20 AM: most of us know that Cuomo is a dirty little thug who gets what he wants by any means - fair or foul, but usually foul. So far, he has been made of Teflon. It is my sincere hope that Preet Bharara will not be intimidated by Cuomo's menacing persona and will go after him without reservation. Cuomo is dirty. He is very, very dirty and very, very ruthless.
